How do I determine which social media network fit my business?
There are two main considerations when deciding whether a social media network fits your business or not:
- Is your audience there?
- Do you have the resources to maintain it?
If the answer is yes to both of these then the social platform is at least worth testing to see if it’s worth it for your business. You can then over time whether the platform is hitting your goals and to see how much effort you should be putting into each platform.
Typically for the question, you’ll be looking at Facebook, Instagram and Twitter if you’re a B2C company, whereas LinkedIn will be more suitable if you’re B2B. There are instances where they can work the other way round and it’s important to remember that it’s what’s right for your business. There could be a social media platform that the general population hasn’t heard of but it could be great for your niche and therefore worth you being on it!
In terms of resources you need to understand what it will cost to maintain, either by using your in house resources, such as managing it yourself, or outsourcing it to an agency such as us.
Who will be working on my account?
Typically there will be at least 2 people working on your social media account. The first will be your dedicated account manager who will be your main point of contact, in charge of the overall strategy and ensuring that your social media is implemented to the highest of standards. Your account manager will work with a variety of content creators in order to do this.
What will you need from me to run my social media?
During the onboarding process we will discuss the amount of involvement you want to have in the process and what resources you have available to use such as images and content creation.
We will also need access to your social media accounts in order to be able to manage them and post content.
Will you create my social accounts?
If you do not already have accounts set up, then yes we can create your accounts for you. We will ensure that we utilise all the appropriate channels for your business and align your profiles to your business goals by fully completing and optimising the key messaging across your social media pages.
You have all the rights to own your social media accounts. We will create them with your email address and chosen password. This then has to be shared with ourselves so we can manage your accounts for you. We also make sure that you’re the owner of your accounts so it makes it easier for you to leave if you’re unhappy with the work. We want you to work with us because you’re happy with the results, not because you’re stuck!
How often do you post and why?
Depending on the needs, size and goals of your company. We work on a case by case basis and our overall aim is to provide relevant, engaging content that makes a difference to your business.
How will I know if what you are doing is working?
Pinnacle Digital are fully transparent with the results and reporting to our clients. We will send you monthly concise, easy readable and interpretable reports. These will include the increase/ decrease figures of; followers, post impressions, referral traffic and conversions for all your social media channels as a whole, but also individual platforms.
We further then analyse the content and make further observations within the report as to what we think is successful and not. From this we will then suggest recommendations on how we can improve your overall performance to get you the results you want.
